Welcome to Sedonawells Photography!

Jan and Steve Wells are digital-based photographers and artists. Originally living in Indiana and Michigan, we moved to Surprise, Arizona in October 2009. After retiring from our first careers in May 2014, we started a photography business that offered portraits, family portraits, weddings, commercial headshots, and images for company reports and websites. In May 2017, we decided to move to Sedona, Arizona  where we now do landscape, travel, and nature photography. We also do personal projects that include water drop photography, macro photography, focus stacking, and digital art.

About Steve

I became interested in photography at a very young age. Although my careers were not initially in photography, they were technical, used new technologies and involved design. I continued to do photography as an advanced hobbyist with strong interest in using new technology, cameras, and studio equipment as well as image composition and software optimization. We wanted to start a photography business. so retired early to begin our business.

About Jan

I am a certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America. I enjoy photographing anything involving Nature and Landscapes. But my favorites are the “Three Bs” of blooms, butterflies, and bees! In retirement I have also been able to become involved in Travel Photography and creating Photography Art.
